| The family includes the surnames Betz, Adams, Stine or Stein, Morrison, and Hendrickson. Most of the known relatives are currently living in Indiana. The Betz and Stein portions of the family came from Germany. Emanuel Stein came to the United States in 1853 from Wortenburg, Germany and is the oldest know ancestor. Aswell, the Adams and Hendrickson portions came from England but can not be traced back to emmigration. |
