Samuel Person, 95, of Southern Pines, died Monday (Sept. 26, 2005) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
The funeral service will take place on Sunday at 12 noon at the Church of God and Saints of Christ in Suffolk (Belleview), Va., with Evangelist Judah A. Person Jr. officiating. Interment will be at Belleville Cemetery, Suffolk, Va.
Survivors include his wife, Augusta A. Person; his son, Kermitt N. Waddell of Charlotte; his daughter, Phyllis B. Waddell of Atlanta, Ga.; and one grandchild, Kerry M. Willis of Atlanta, Ga.
Kendrick Funeral Home of Southern Pines is handling the arrangements.
