I am researching McKinney family names Hughes, Burkhead, Hobbs, Vannoy, Mackey, Kilby, Roberson, Lewis, Stalcup, Howry, Preston, Wax, Geschwind, and Brackin. I am particularly interested in Samuel Hughes from Bethel, Giles County, Tennessee and Zachariah Lewis who was married to Rachel Stalcup in Orange County, North Carolina on July 18, 1796. After Zachariah's death in about 1803 Rachel married Peter Mankins. I am a descendent of Thomas Jefferson McKinney who was the son of George McKinney. Georges' father was born in Pennsylvania and George was born in Ohio in 1820. Later he moved to Illinois where my grandfather was born and then to Missouri where my father was born between Vandalia and Ladonnia, Mo. I would like to know who Georges' parents were. The census reported that his mother was born in Scotland and his father in Pennsylvania.
On the Bethel line I am searching for ancesters of John Bethel who was in Kensington, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania in 1850 and his descendents. I am also researching family names Edgmon, Casey, Deatherage, and Crabaugh.

I would appreciate any information I can receive and I would be willing to share any information I have on these family members.
