32.Thomas HADAWAY122, born 10 Oct 1761 in VA122; died 17 Dec 1813 in Wilkes Co, GA122.He married 33. Lavinia MORRIS.
33.Lavinia MORRIS122, born 1761 in MD122; died 19 Dec 1842 in Walton Co, GA.
Notes for Thomas HADAWAY:
While I have seen references to this Thomas' father as being the Revolutionary Soldier of North Carolina, the age of this Thomas HADAWAY is certainly perfect for military service during the Revolution. He would have been 22 at the time of the Yorktown surrender. His father, if his date of birth is correct, would have been in his late forties when the Revolution began. So, there is a possibility both served.
Notes for Lavinia MORRIS:
Spelled Lavonia or Lavinia

In 1827 purchased from Isaac Awtry 101 1/2 acres; half of land lot 198 on Little Sandy Creek, Morgan Co. Was very lucky in the lottery. 1827 won Lot 241, Muscogee Co.; Lot 234 Muscogee 202 1/2 acres each. 1832 won Lot 307, Union Co., 1832 Gold Lottery District 16 Section Lot 0004 Cobb Co. Ga. No paper trail because of fires in Muscogee Co. (1838), Union Co. (1859),and Cobb Co (1864).In Morgan Co.,he must have sold Lottery land.In 1830, Levi paid tax on p/2 of lot 198 and his brother, Amos Hadaway, paid on the other. Amos was an Elder at Sandy Creek. Levi joined 9/24/1831. In 1839 the church met in conference and Levi became a deacon. |

He was in Captain Williams Company in S.C. in 1775. He also served with Col. Farmer's N.C. Regiment.Moved to Wilkes Co., GA before 1790 and lived in Taliaferro Co. until his death.
