August 6, 1997 Hello: I am Charles Henry Beyrodt, born on December 16, 1927 in Louisville, Kentucky. Genealogy is a new adventure for me. I am researching the surnames of BEYRODT and PHILDIUS. I have identified three separate families of Beyrodt, located in the areas of Kentucky, Maryland, Florida, Montana, New York, California and Western Canada. I have not been able to connect them at this point, although I am sure that there origin was in Germany. I have located the Phildius family in Florida and the New England area.
