Genalogy of the Gerhard Heinrich Beyke Family

I am researching the Beyke Family in the United States. Joan Gerhard Heinrich (Henry) Beike came to America around 1840 from Emsdetten, Westphalia, Prusia, bringing his wife Anna Christina Elizabeth Kamp, their children Benjamin Bernard, Garlard (Gerhard Heinrich), Elisabeth, and Anna Maria. His wife died and was buried at sea.

The family settled in Jasper, Indiana and the spelling of the name was changed to Beyke. Henry married Anna Maria Margreta Klusener, and they had three sons: John Ferdinand, Henry, and William. Joan Gerhard Heinrich died December 24th, 1845 and was buried at St. Ferdinand Cemetery in Ferdinand, Indiana.
