We have visited Poland in 1995 and in 1997 and have met or established contact with many Biadasz Family members in Warsaw, Poznan; Gniezno; Slupca and in small towns and villages approx. 40 miles East, of Poznan where the Biadasz surname originated. Towns and villages like, Skarboszewo; Wierzbocice; Katy; Borki; Graboszewo; Kotunia; Ciazen; Cienin Zaborny and Cienin Koscielny among others still contain descendents of the oldest known, Joseph D. Biadasz, born abt 1749.
Research in that part of Poland is extremely difficult because the area was directly on the Prussian and Russian borders in the 1772 - 1793 and 1795 Partitions of Poland. What records are available from that period to the establishment of the Second Polish Republic in 1918 are written in Polish, Russian, German and Latin as well.
We currently have over 5000 individuals in our data base and we will gladly share and exchange family information with others. We are anxious to hear from anyone who believes they may be part of the extended Biadasz Family.
