Emerson J. Bickford (son of Charles D. Bickford and Sabrah C. Thompson)1 was born January 1856 in Algansee Twp., Branch Co., MI.1, and died March 18, 1938 in Ovid Twp., Branch Co., MI.. He married Ella May Dove on January 01, 1881 in Alagansee Twp., Branch Co., MI.1.
Notes for Emerson J. Bickford: Emerson J. Bickford was a farmer in Algansee Twp. He also built barns for a living in the area. He had only one son named Harry Daniel Bickford. Emerson's wife, Ella May Dove, died when Harry was about three years old. Emerson was unable to care for Harry and some friends who did not have children raised Harry. Their name was Every and Katy Warren who lived in Branch Co.
Emerson never remarried and died in 1938 in Coldwater, MI. He is buried at Lester Cemetery with his Father Charles Bickford.
