Notes for Harry D. Bickford: Harry Bickford's mother died when he was three years old. He was raised by another family; Emery and Katy Warren from Branch County, MI. The Warrens were farmers and Harry worked on their farm as he grew older. Harry continued to work for the Warren after he married Bessie Goodrich. Bessie died in 1949 and he eventually married Bessie cousin, Inez Griffith Hurley. They settled on a farm west of Angola IN. until they retired. When Interstate 69 was built through Steuben County, IN., it went through the middle of Harry's farm. He sold off half of the property for the new highway and moved to a smaller remaining portion of the land to live out the rest of his days.
