Hello This page is for the family of John Albert ABRAHAMSON and Ivernia COOKINGHAM. They have left a large amount of descendants and through this site hopefully more can be learned about their ancestors. John was born in Sheyenne, North Dakota on August 20, 1886. His parents were John Edward ABRAHAMSON and Jane SITES. J. Edward ABRAHAMSON was born in 1841 possibly in Sweden or Norway. Jane SITES was born March 26, 1865 in Detroit, Wayne county, Michigan. She was the daughter of ? SITES and Mary Marie HELLAND. At this time we have a wonderful collection of the decendants of J. Edward ABRAHAMSON and Jane SITES. They had 9 children before Jane was widowed. She remarried to Julius PONTO and added 5 more children to her prodgeny. Ivernia COOKINGHAM was born February 20, 1906 in Chicago, Illinois. Her parents were Germaine COOKINGHAM and Zelma NILSSON. Germaine COOKINGHAM was born in LaGrange county, Michigan on April 14, 1871. Zelma NILSSON was born September 28, 1875 in Stockholm, Sweden. Some of the names in the branches are: ABRAHAMSON, SITES, HELLAND,COOKINGHAM,NILSSON, TYLER, GORE, LINK and hopefully more in the future. At this point the geographical areas of research are: Montana, North Dakota, Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota. I would love to be of assistance to anyone with questions.
