| I am researching the ROSENBERG family from Schwirsen, Pomerania. William and Alvina ROSENBERG and children immigrated to the United States in 1864, settling in Whitefish Bay, WI. They first appear on the 1870 census. Other ROSENBERG lines include RADLOFF, KIECKHAEFER, UECKE, KOELLER, RADUE. I'm also researching the COOKs from Nodaway County, MO. Benjamin Franklin COOK m. Mary Jane STEPHENSON there in 1862. A number of their children migrated West, settling in CO and CA. Other COOK lines include GEIER, JOHNSON, HAMMER, DRISCOLL, and MARTZ Thanks to prior research from LISTERS, internet web sites, and the Family History Center, I have traced ancestors off my COOK line to Melchoir HAMMER, born Abt. 1553 in Oberjesingen, Wurttemberg, Germany. There is also a Mayflower connection through Benjamin COOK's wife. I encourage all my cousins, close and distant, to contact me with additions and/or corrections. |
