| Searching for information on the parents of James Biggins, born July 25, 1834, in the Parish of Robeen County Mayo, Ireland. He was a son of Patrick Biggins and Mary Maloy. Mary later married a Fred Manning. James emigrated to the US in 1850. He had a brother in Philadelphia, who later had a business in Brooklyn, NY, and a sister Bridget, wife of Martin Welch, in McKean Co. Pennsylvania. There possibly was another brother, name not known, who went West. Would enjoy hearing from others interested in the family and surname. |
