| George Baker was born a slave in Pontotoc County, MIssissippi in 1844 and died in 1940. Jannie Matthews- Baker part Indian(Spelled Mathice)was born a slave in Virginia in 1850 and died 1935 she was owned by Dr, Lewis A. Matthews. Mose Price was born a slave in Titus County, Mt. Pleasant he died 1920 owned by Dr. Thomas A. Stephens. Emily Wheeler- Price was born a slave in Arkansas in 1850 and died in 1926 owned by J. B. Wheeler. I am looking for the descendants in Titus County, Texas Matthews,Wheeler, Stephens, Lamb, Peel, Baker,Price and McCoo |
