| Ancestors on my father's side of the family are traced back to Italy. His mother was Carolina Andreoletti and both mother and father were born in Besano, Varese, Italia. The research has taken me to the birth date of Carlo Biotti (1770-1857), my great,great,great grandfather. It is not known yet the place of birth but earliest children were born in an area called Biumo Inferiore in Varese,Italia. My great,great grandmother on my fathers side of the family was a Vergobbi and can be traced back to my 9th generation grandfather who was Bartolomeo Vergobbi (1587-Feb.24, 1650/1651). My grandmother is traced back to Giacomo Andreoletti, my great, great,great grandfather born in Besano in mid-1700. I, as well as many of our american family, re-visit Besano often to visit our existing Andreoletti relatives and to see the town of origination of their birth rights. Any information in furthering my research would be most appreciated. I have assisted and communicated with many people who are searching for information on the Biottis, Andreolettis and those that seek information on Besano and am happy to do so. |
