| This site is just being created - so pardon the appearance and lack of information. I'm trying to get all the information updated before our first reunion to be held on June 2, 2002 at the Lilly Lake Inn, Wolcott, CT. I have been researching the Caruso family history since approximately 1994. During that time, I posted my name on an Italian subname website. Forgetting about that, one day I received an e-mail from someone who was looking for information on Caruso's from the Waterbury, CT area. This began an interesting exchange of e-mails. Come to find out, Robert Caruso had also been researching the same family, and was having a problem with local info, but had valuable info from Italy. We met one Saturday afternoon at the Prospect Fire Department and exchanged the info we had. In 1996, I ventured to Italy to find the town where our family emigrated from - Altavilla Irpinia, (Avellino)Italy. Find my travel report in the book "Caruso Family History". Also, reports will be uploaded soon. |
