My g.grandfather, (Unknown) Bishop married Sarah Barnes, daughter of Newton Barnes, son of John Ebenezer Barnes. The Bishop name could be traced no further than the unknown Bishop. Research is ongoing at this time. It is possible that the unknown Bishop married in Ala. and later moved to Jasper Co., Ga. My grandfather, James William Bishop was born in 1875, possibly in Ala. He married Annie Lee Womack in Jasper Co., Ga. (date unknown)
