Levi Bishop (b. September 17, 1759, d. March 26, 1837)

Levi Bishop (son of Jeremiah Bishop II and Hannah) was born September 17, 1759 in Union (Tolland) CT, and died March 26, 1837 in W. Windsor, VT. He married (1) Elizabeth Grandy on Abt. 1780, daughter of Robert Grandy and Bethiah Porter. He married (2) Hannah Train on March 23, 1807. He married (3) Abigail Crosby on April 20, 1815.

Notes for Levi Bishop:
Levi Bishop was in the Revolutionary War serving under Capt. Samuel Savage as a Corporal.

On his tombstone is the Epitaph "An Honest Man"

Levi was a brick maker. Many of the houses in the Brownville/Windsor area had chimneys, fireplaces and actual homes built from his bricks.
