Michael H. Dutkiewicz (son of Frank Dutkiewicz and Maryanna Janahowska) was born September 13, 1863 in German Poland, and died February 12, 1951 in Milwaukee, WI. He married Catherine Katazyna Borowiak on Abt. 1909, daughter of Martin Borowiak and Francisca Golombowski.

Michael emigrated to the USA as a young man. He filed for Citizenship April 9, 1890, in Cook County, Illinois. He became an American Citizen on September 5, 1906 at the Milwaukee County Court House. His first wife was Anna Ptaszynski. She was born June 16, 1872, the daughter of Anton and Elizabeth Ptaszynski. Of this union no children were born. Anna Died of Pulmonary Tuberculosis on April 7, 1899. She is Buried in St. Adalbert cemetery, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Michael was sent away as a young man because of a war. He traveled the world, Germany, Poland, Europe etc. before coming to America with a family, Frank and Maryanna Janahowska Dutkiewicz. Who claimed him as there son as they came to the U.S. We do not know what Michael’s real last name is or who his biological parents are.
