| I am researching my husband's family (Bishop, Dinning, Davis, Dodson, Martin, Wheelock, Gillet, Buxton, Boyington, Kempton, and others). This Bishop family has lived in western Michigan for more than 150 years. I am also researching my father's family (Brogan, Mitchell, Kirley, Ratel). The Brogans and Kirleys came from Ireland to Pennsylvania and New York. The Ratel family was French Canadian and lived in New York, Pennsylvania, and NJ. The Mitchells lived in Morgan County, Indiana. And, although I have a substantial amount of information about my mother's family (Fonde, King, Habersham, Strobhar, Broun, Beville, Fitch, Olney and Bolton), I am trying to find out more about the Fonde/Stewart branch. My maternal ancestors lived in the south, especially Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina and Tennesee. I welcome new information and corrections and would be happy to share my data with others. |
