The Bruce Stearns Bixby Home Page

Researching the following surnames from the towns of Warren and Plymouth New Hampshire from the early 1800 to the end of the century: Bixby, Stearns, Bailey.
Especially interested in the fate of Joseph Bixby, born Warren NH 1 Nov 1833, and who enlisted in the 12th NH Volunteer Inf. in Aug 1862. He vanished from the pages of history after May 1863 while on leave.Question-Where did he go??

Also of great interest is what ever happened to Mary Christy who married his son Charles. Charles, a railroad brakeman, died in a horrible railroad accident in Salem MA on April 30, 1896.

Finally interested in any details of Charles sister Agnes who married a Walter J Thompson and resided in Salem at the time of Charles death.

Any information on any of the above people described would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
