About me - My mom sparked my interest in genealogy while I was growing up. She was constantly looking up things at the Family History Library or sending letters off to people and waiting for sometimes years for a reply. When the internet made things more accessible, I became more interested -- especially when my mom started finding records in seconds, rather than the years it took by snail mail. To her, the ideal vacation is going to Salt Lake City and hanging out in the library for a week (well, maybe that is her 2nd favorite vacation). I'll probably be that way when I'm older and don't have little kids occupying my time. For now, she is what I consider the "Head Genealogist" of the family and I am her apprentice. She has gotten several others in our family interested in family history as well. We all try to help each other out and its fun to share new findings together. Now that I have started my own little family, its also time to start researching my husband's Bizzigotti line. My mother-in-law has a big huge book on her family -Harris and Claytons who were LDS pioneers. I really don't want to type the book into the computer but perhaps I will find someone who has this book as a gedcom file somewhere instead! Its about 4 inches thick - tons of typing! I found a living Bizzigotti who sent me a file and it has dissappeared on my computer!!!! I'll see what I can do to find it or I'll have to find his email address again. My mom and I are very interested in the Beeson line and have lots of pictures. My grandma is about the only Beeson left in her generation and she has been able to identify people that nobody else knew.
