Samuel Beagles (son of John Beagles and Jane Booth) was born 5 May 1850 in Whaplode Drove, Lincolnshire, and died 18 November 1921 in Basford,Nottinghamshire. He married (1) Emily Jane Crofts on 25 December 1880 in St Marks Church, Nottingham. He married (2) Lydia Mary Pindar on 26 September 1895 in St Georges Church,Netherfield, Nottinghamshire.
Notes for Samuel Beagles: The 1891 census records a 23 year old "brother in law" named William E Beagles born in Mellow, Nottinghamshire. This would indicate that he was born around 1868. William is shown as Hosiery Machine Fitter. To be brother in law to Samuel, William would have to be the brother of his wife Emily. In such circumstances he could not be a Beagles. Given that Emily and William have the same birthplace, it is probably more likely that William was Perhaps an illigitimate son of Emily, and was "adopted by Samuel. The initial E more often used as Eason in the Beagles family was, in this case probably another Christian name.
