THE BLAIR & POSEY FAMILIES OF TAYLOR COUNTY, GEORGIA

My ggggrandfather Joseph Blair, b. ca 1800, was born in either MA or CT, according to different census records. I believe that MA is probably correct, as I have located a Joseph Blair in Worcester Co., MA with a son named Joseph, b. in 1798. This Joseph probably migrated to GA before 1840 and settled in Macon Co. in an area that later became Taylor Co. I am trying to connect the MA Blairs to the GA Blairs. Related families are Windham, Rowe, Williams, Hightower, Hinton, Bartlett, Coley, Sheats, Langford, Jinks, Loyd, Anglin, Johnson, Mahaffey, Poole, and Phillips. I am interested in communicating with anyone related to any of these families.

I am also trying to connect the family of brothers Charlie Monroe Blair and Benjamin F. Blair to the Taylor County Blairs. Both of them lived in Taylor County, with Charlie staying there all of his life and Benjamin moving to Macon where he spent most of his life. Related families are Campbell, Brown, Stokes, Raburn, Hall, Newberry, and Tarrer. Any help on these families would be greatly appreciated.
