Included are APPLEWHAITE BLAKEY BROOKS COPELAND CURTIS FARNSWORTH HILLSTEAD MORGAN SHIPP TABERER WHITE WOODLEY and many many others. *************************************************************** HAS ANYONE EVER HEARD OF MY MOST HUNTED ANCESTORS, NAMED BELOW?: If you have, please help me out! ************************************************************* with information concerning Betsey MEGGOTT/MEGGIT and Larr (May be a nickname)WHITE. Time frame would be mid 1700s for their births; they had a daughter, Betsey WHITE born 1788 who married Mathew CURTIS born 1784, both of Danbury, Connecticut. *************************************************************** Matthew CURTIS and Betsey WHITE had seven children: Henry, David, Minerva, Theodore, Emily, Olive, and Helen. I am descended from Theodore CURTIS, who married Margaret Morgan, born in Skenfrith, Wales. Her parents were James and Mary. I am looking for the MORGANS as well. In addition I am searching for the female ancestors of the SHIPP line. (Thanks to many gifted and generous souls out there on the net, I have finally found the ancestors of my very elusive James Copeland and Martha Johnson. Grandmother Bardella SHIPP (CURTIS) (7 KB) Bardella married Theodore Edward Curtis, my grandfather. They were first cousins--a practice that was common in those days. Enhances the good genetic features as well as the not so good.
