The BLENKIN family originated in England, in the Yorkshire district. I am a member of the family branch that emigrated to Canada. THOMAS BLENKIN came to Canada in the 1850s and there are now about 50 or 60 families descended from him.I am looking for information on THOMAS AND GRACE BLENKIN, living in Harton, near Bossall, N. Yorks, and their two sons were Isaac, born 1793, and James, born 1795 in Harton.I have some information on various family branches in England and quite a bit of data on the Canadian families. I have also attempted to contact Blenkins in S. Africa, New Zealand, the United States and Australia.I am especially interested in contacting people who are researching the family in any country. BLENKIN is an unusual name and we all seem to agree that there is a common link at some point in the history of our people. Please contact me if you have any information that we can exchange.
