| This home page has been established for the research and documentation of the Blissit family in Texas. Documentation from any source is welcome. The patriarch of the family was Millard Filmore Blissit, born in Alabama. His wife was Nancy Geneva Milford Blissit, born in Mississippi. They were married in Mississippi. The date and place of the wedding has to be determined. Sons were Luther, Arthur, Clyde, Orman, and Jerome. Orman and Luther were born in Mississippi. Arthur and Clyde were born in Texas. Daughters were Carrie, Elizabeth, Clarance, Sibbie, and Althea; all born in Texas. I have been told that Jerome married and was living in the northern U.S.A. He had asked his mother for money, that he and his wife had the flu. That was the last contact known from Jerome. He was not listed on the 1920 Nueces County, Texas U. S. Census. Two sisters resided with the family. They were Henrietta, known as Aunt Rhett; the second sister was Josephine, Aunt Josie. Both were born in Alabama. |
