"The George Spencer of Lynchburg, VA"

I am researching the Spencer family from Lynchburg, VA. George Spencer first appears in the 1850 census at the age of 37. It appears he was born a mulatto around 1813 in Frederick County, VA and his profession was a Shoemaker. He married Margaret, around 1836. I don't know Margaret's maiden name or where she ws born. They had two daughters: Sarah, Charlotte and four sons: William B.,John, George, and George. Any information would be appreciated. I am willing to share the information that I have. THXS
