| Hello and welcome to this site. I was born in Kirkcaldy, Fife and I am researching my branch of the Blyth family. The main events occur in Markinch then move to Dysart, Kirkcaldy and many other places in Fife and beyond. The earliest ancestor traced so far was born in 1599. Perhaps the most significant event involving my ancestors was the murder of my ggg grandmother by her daughter. Like any other family history, this one is still evolving. For that reason I would like to hear from anyone who may have further information relating to the Blyth family. I am also researching my wife's ancestors - the Newby family. |
