I am researching the LOFT family. I have hit a block in this area of my family tree. I do know that JOHN LOFT was born in HULL, ENGLAND around 1863 and died in a mining accident in Waihi, New Zealand in 1905. I know that he travelled by boat out to NEW ZEALAND with the possibility of tavelling via SOUTH AFRICA. I also Know that he is linked to the FERGUSON, WAKE, and SHACKLES families through Hannah Moriah Wake. He married my great, great grandmother Catherine McNamara in Dunedin, New Zealand on June 3rd 1899. Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have which includes Birth, Death and Marriage cetificates and photos.
