BIOGRAPHY
Max started to work at the National Cash Register Co in Dayton Ohio in
Nov. of 1953. He started to date a woman by the name of Nellie and
would each day walk to the other end of the work place to talk to her,
each day a group of four girls that always ate lunch together would
say, "There he goes to check in again". There came a day in late Dec.
of 1953 that he turned to them and said "OK, you think I have to check
in do you, well which one of you want to go out this Friday night".
None of then said anything so he ask the pretties of the four "How
about you, or do you just talk allot" She agreed to go to a drive-in
movie. From then on I checked in with her. I worked not far from where
she worked and the job I was required to use a air hose to blow oil
and dirt off of small pieces. I would use the hose in short and long
blast; everybody in the area could here it; until she would turn
around and look at me then I would wink at her. The people got so that
every time I went to the air hose they would holler at her to turn
around. We started going steady, I took her down to her home in Ky.,
one weekend and in July of 1955 we married. As of this date Aug. 2001
it has been 46 years, two children with seven grand-children later. It
all was her fault, she teased me, I showed her!!
We have traveled in all the States of the Union, and have been to Las Vegas many times, went to Niagara Falls on our honeymoon and returned so far seven times. Our travels have mostly been by the automobile, with many trips taking three weeks to more then a month. The places we have been and the sites we have seen are to many to mention. The places we have stayed in have been from pig sty to Hotel Suites.

Wanda Marie Combs was born in Allock, Perry Co. Ky. Shortly after her birth the Family moved to Clemons, First Creek, Perry Co. Kentucky and lived in the back of her Grandfathers store in Shucky Bean Hollow. Later on after a few more moves in the Clemons area her Father built a house on the hill side above her Grandfathers store and their nice large white home. All the brothers and sisters would have to walk through the yard of their Grandmothers home to get to the path leading up to the house.
Wanda taught school at the young age 18 years and in the summer of 1946 she took 5 weeks of collage, at Lees Jr. college In Jackson Ky. In 1951she went to Indianapolis, Indiana and lived for about eight months. She them moved to Dayton, Ohio and worked at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base for The Yoho Co. She soon got employed by the N.C.R. Co. and in 1953 she met her husband to-be and was married on July 8, 1955.
At this date, she has 2 children, 7 grandchildren and has been married for 45 years.

Vicki Lynn graduated from Stebbens High School in then Mad River Twp. which is now the City of Riverside, Montgomery Co. Ohio. After that she worked in a bank, joined the Church of Latter Day Saints and then graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
On Oct. 11, 1986 he married Thomas Franklin Garrett at the L.D.S. Church in Beavercreek, Greene Co. Ohio.
They have 4 children and now live in Beavercreek, as Tom has retired from the U.S. Air Force as of Jan. 2000.

Duane Bobbitt grew up in Mad River Twp., graduated from Stebbens High School and took a two year course at Clark Tech in Springfield, Ohio.
He worked different jobs as he grew from mowing grass on Golf courses to building boilers and washing dishes.
In July of 1986 he married and is now the Father of 3 children, two of which are twins. For the past few years he has worked for the U S Postal Service and lives outside of Springboro, Warren Co. Ohio.
