I am researching surnames Bost (Bast), Drye (Dry), Craton (Crayton), Vanderburg and Smith from Germany, PA and NC. I am a descendant of Georg Bast (Pink Plaisance) m to Anna Maree; Johannes W. Bast m Susanna Catharina; Elias m Catherin; William Bost m Elizabeth Shive; Allen Bost m Polly Reed, Rachel Garmon and Margaret Gray; son of Rachel Garmon was Daniel Webster Bost m Molley Rebecca Barbee; Albert B. Bost m Lucy Ann Smith in Concord, Cabarrus County, NC. Albert was killed in Topoka in 1918 and my father, Albert Bost, Jr. was three weeks old. I am looking for info on this side of family. Documents, records, photos, etc. On the Smith side, I am descended from William V. Smith m to Christina Barnhardt (1835) Cabarrus County, NC. Would like to know more about his ancestors. His son, Nelson Smith was my ggggrandfather on my mother's side(Crayton) and my gguncle on my father's side (Smith). He was the brother to Mathias m Margaret Josey who was my ggggrandfather on my father's side. Any info helpful, especially Margaret Josey family. Crayton was my mother's name and I go back as far as Johannes George Helmerick--William Craton, Isaac William Craton, Conrad C. Craton, George Nelson Craton. George's daughter was Julia Catherine Crayton, my grandmother. Looking for info on her marriage to Horace Monroe Drye and any relatives of hers. Have no info on the Drye family. As far as Bobich, family from Yugasolvia...to Ohio. Only names to date: Marko Bobich, George Bobich and marriages Savich, Markovich. No leads on this whatsoever. Any help will be appreciated.
