Charles William Haigh (son of Jonathan Haigh and Hannah Dalton)^{427, 428, 429, 430, 431} was born July 14, 1855 in Omro, Winnebago County, Wisconsin⁴³², and died May 9, 1931 in Hibbing, St. Louis County, Minnesota^{433, 434, 435}. He married Sarah Rebecca Pratt on April 3, 1886 in Hudson, Wisconsin⁴³⁶, daughter of Albert Franklin Pratt and Margaret Jane Tice.

I remember by Sim Carpenter,his grandson I
Grandpa Haigh was stern but kind. Took me from the farm at Goodland in a horse wagon to the store in Goodland. when he left the farm he moved into Hibbing about a block away from where we lived on St Louis Ave. (2528 4th Ave West now.) He lived with Uncle Bob and Mary and that is where he died. I remember his casket in our living room for the viewing. I was too small to go to the funeral.
