There are many names listed on this family tree and I am amazed that I reached over 200! My search has led me back to Calvert Tx, to a white man named TOM EDWARDS and a slave woman named CAROLINE. This is where my father's side of the story begins. On my mother's side, I have been taken back to Smith County TN and a woman named BELLE BLACK, who supposedly had Native American ancestry, with quite a few names in between. The search has just begun. |
