| I am researching the HODOM family who originated in England arrived in Ny by way of Scotland. The earliest I have found is john HODOM Sr who was married to edith BRESTER who lived in England. In a 1892 Ridgeway census, I found their son John B. HODOM jr. who was married to Mary KNOWLES arriving in NY around or after 1863 by way of scotland. They lived in Ridgeway, ny and had four children: henry, elizabeth, robert,charles,and thomas. Henry married Jane "jennie" HARE and had 5 children: Ethel E, Frances L.,Lester Roscoe,Paul Henry, and Laverne James. They lived in somerset,ny. Laverne married Olive B. MCCUNE and had 3 sons: lester Roscoe,Richard Thomas,and Donald V. they lived in Yates and Buffalo ny. Lester married Patricia A. Smith and had 3 girls. I am missing info on Olive McCune my grandmother. Any info that could be provided would be apprecciated. I am also willing to share what information I have gathered. |
