I searched for many years to find a connection to our German Boland family. In 2002 Rev. Otto Wilhelmy a very old Lutheran Minister of Haine, Hessen, Germany who was familiar with our German family researched it for me and sent me the data for Johannes Bohland our g.g.g.g.g.g.grandfather Johannes Bohland & wife Loys Dippel. He also sent me information about our present day German cousin Otto Geitz the g.g.g.g.grandson of Katharina Elisabeth Bohland. Otto lives at the site of the original Bohland home in Haine, Hessen, Germany. We have been writing back and forth now for over a year. Cousin Otto sent me this picture of himself and his wife Lydia.
