Descendant of Joseph Soloman Hickman

This project is a gift for my son so he may know about the family he descended from. It is an incorporation of two prior collections of research with additional information gathered through personal research and conversations with living family members.

My currect studies have begun with my Great-Grandfather, Joseph Soloman Hickman, and continued to present day. He was born and lived in the Low Country of South Carolina. Many of his descendants remained in that general area.

Research is also in the works for a new project on the history of Gertrude Ivy Ritter and her family.
