"SAMUEL G. HALL
Samuel George Hall, aged 74 years, formerly of Blossburg, died at a hospital in Johnstown after a ten-day illness. Born in Brooklyn, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. [sic] George Hall, he went with his parents to Charleston, Tioga county, to reside and later to Blossburg.
For a number of years, he served as police officer in Blossburg, later going to Portage, where he was a member of the police force, and later to Johnstown. He was a member of the Moose Lodge. When a young man, he married Miss Martha Clements, of Blossburg, who died eight years ago.
He is survived by a daughter, Miss Mildred Clement Hall, a member of the faculty of the Johnstown schools; a niece, Mrs. A. J. Biddle, of Williamsport; three nephews, Robert and Asa McInroy, of Wellsboro, and George McInroy, of Jersey Shore.
The body was taken to Blossburg Friday to the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Mark H. Arnold, where the funeral was held Sunday; burial in Arbon cemetery at Blossburg."
