The William Boone Family Home Page

The family surnames that we are searching are: Boone, Botts, Overman, and Peffley. They lived in Virginia, Kentucky, and Indiana. The Boone family that we are researching is in the line of Edward aka Ned Boone, the younger brother of Daniel Boone the explorer. I am especially interested in: Rebecca Case, born in May of 1854 and died in 1926. She was married to George Beverly Boone, born in 1850 and died in 1922; Susan Evans Crouch, born 1825 and died in 1853. She was married to Levi Boone on 9/6/1849 in Clark County Kentucky. The Botts family is thought to have arrived from England in the early 1600's, when Thomas Botts, Senior and two brothers came to Virginia and became planters. I can trace the Overmans back to North Carolina in the 1830's when Ephraim Overman married Rachael Small. The Peffley family came to America on August the 19th of 1729. The first members of that family were Nicholas Peffley, 1700-1748, who married Barbara Barn in 1723.
