The Family of Samuel Cox

Samuel Cox died April 20, 1896 in Carroll Co, MS at the hands of murderous thieves. His wife, Lue Minda Cox died Sept 21, 1894. Both are buried in Old Salem Cemetery in Emory community, MS. The family possibly originated in one of the Carolinas. Lue Minda was possibly a full blooded native American. They had 8 children: Wm. A., Rebecca Jane, Charlotte, Pari Lee, Sara francis, Samuel W., Belle, and James M.I am seeking info on Samuel and Lue Minda and any/all of their children.

Additionally, I am seeking info on the ancestors of Jesse Johnson and Minnie Lee McAvoy who lived and died in Vaiden, Carroll Co, MS. The McAvoys were from Alabama.
