5. Obituary for WILLIAM H. LAMP:
      William Henry Lamp, 72, died suddenly Wednesday afternoon at 1:45 o'clock in his home of a heart attack with which he was stricken a few minutes before. He had been about his home as usual in the morning.
      He was born in Jacksontown, the son of Rev. James and Sarah C. Lamp. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ella M. Lamp and the following children, Mrs. George Swan of Lancaster; Mrs. Zella Wheeler, Mrs. Lulu Carpenter and Floyd Lamp of this city, Frank and William Lamp of the home; his
father, Rev. James Lamp of this city; 13 grandchildren; a half brother, Marion Ambrose Lamp and a half sister, Mrs. Frances Orr of this city.
      The body was moved to Criss Brothers' funeral home and funeral services will be held there Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Rev. H. D. Wickens will officiate and burial will be made in Fairmount cemetery.

      Mrs. Bertha Mae Swan, 78, of 76 Riley St., died in Grant Hospital, Columbus, at 6:45 a.m. today.
      She was born May 31, 1888, in Newark, to William H. and Ella Oakleaf Lamp, and was member of the Central Church of Christ.
      She was the widow of George Swan. Surviving are two brothers: William Lamp of Rocky Fork and Floyd Lamp of Newark; nieces and nephews. A brother and a sister are dead.
      Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Criss Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph A. Garshaw officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.

      George W. Swan, 80, died in his home in Lancaster Tuesday noon after a long illness.
      He was a locksmith and machinist by trade, and a former resident of Newark. He had lived in Lancaster 10 years.
      He is survived by his widow, formerly Mae Lamp of Newark, and is the last of his immediate family.
      The funeral will be hled at 1:30 p.m. Friday from the Frank E. Smith funeral home in Lancaster. Burial will be made in the Wilson cemetery north of Newark.
