            Rev. M. A. Lamp Dies in Hospital Thursday
      The Rev. Marion Ambrose Lamp, 90, 465 Moull St., a minister in the Christian Union Church for 60 years, died in Newark Hospital at 1:55 a.m. Thursday where he had been a patient since Nov. 15. He had been in failing health for two years and was serious the last three weeks.
      Mr, Lamp was born in Jacksontown, Oct. 28, 1869, the son of the Rev. James M. and Sarah P. (Hanson) Lamp and was received into the Jacksontown Methodist Church when he was 13 years old.

      Mr. Lamp spent most of his life in Newark and operated a grocery on Pine and Maholm Sts. for sometime. He was also in the Lamp Addition on W. Postal Ave. He attended Ohio Wesleyan Conservatory of Music and in 1898 was accepted by the North Ohio Council of Christian Union.
      He began his first pastorate at the New Bethel Christian Union Church in 1899. Since then he held pastorates in 20 Christian Union Churches in nine counties in Ohio.
      Rev. Lamp served as pastor of the First Christian Union Church of Newark two different times and was also pastor of the Maple Ave. C. U. Church. Rev. Lamp was active in denominational work and served in various offices in the North Ohio Council of Christian Union Churches.
      His wife, Emma Sarah (Osborn) Lamp died April 27, 1951 and he is survived by his widow Mary (Hottle) Lamp whom he married in 1952. Also surviving are one son, Harold W. Lamp, Newark; two daughters, Mrs. Ora E. Warner, Newark; and Mrs. Leo Moore of Dresden; also three grandchildren and eight grandchildren. One brother and two sisters are deceased; also a son who died in France in 1918.
      Friends may call at the Criss Brothers Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the chapel with the Rev. H. E. Doyle and J. B. Rosemurgy officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

2. Obituary for MRS. M. A. LAMP:
      Mrs. Emma Lamp, 83, wife of the Rev. M. A. Lamp, 814 Mt. Vernon Road, died at 4:30 p.m. Friday in Doctors Hospital, Columbus.
      Mrs. Lamp had been a patient there more than a month, and her death followed a fall in her home March 15, in which she suffered a broken hip. Her condition became critical April 14.
      A native of Missouri, Mrs. Lamp was formerly Emma Osburn, born Jan. 2, 1868, the daughter of Logan and Eliza (Dickinson) Osburn.
      She came to Ohio as a child, to reside in the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Osburn in Jacksontown, and attended the Jacksontown school. Her marriage to Marion A. Lamp, took place Jan. 29, 1891, and the Rev. and Mrs. Lamp observed thier 60th wedding anniversity last Jan. 29.
      Mrs. Lamp is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Warner of Newark and Mrs. Mabel Moore of Coshocton, one son, Harold W. Lamp of Newark; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one sister, Miss Rosa Osburn of Newark; a half-sister, Mrs. Grace Peters of Bexley; two
half-brothers, Owen G. Osburn of Jacksontown and Capt.Carl T. Osburn, U. S. Navy, St. Helena, Calif.
Another son, Pvt. Ellis L. Lamp, U. S. Army, died in Nov. 1918.
      Mrs. Lamp had been a member of the Methodist Church all of her life, first of the church in Jacksontown and later of the First Methodist Church, Newark, where for many years she was active in the church work.
      The body will be moved to the family home Saturday from Criss Brothers funeral home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the home with the Rev. H. E. Doyle officiating. Burial will be made in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

2. Obituary for MARGERY LOLA LAMP:
      Services for Mrs. Margery Lola Lamp, 83, of 443 Mt. Vernon Rd. will be 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of the Criss Brothers Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donald R. Payne officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
      Mrs. Lamp died Friday afternoon in the hospital. She was born July 24, 1890, in Licking County, to the late William and Mina Dugan Farquhar.
      She was a former employee of the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., where she had worked for 25 years, and a member of the First United Methodist Church and Senior Citizens.
      Surviving are her husband, Harold W. Lamp; and nieces and nephews. One brother and a sister are deceased.
      The family will be present from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday
