As for the Bostwick family, my great-grandfather was William Westley Bostwick, born Feb. 28, 1870. I have no information on his parents or where he was actually born. He married Mary Elizabeth Harriman, daughter of Aurelius Harriman and Evelyn Lewis. They were married in May 1890 at Muses Bottom, Jackson Co., WV. William died in East Liverpool, OH, on Jan 26, 1922.
The common ancestor for the Lamp family I'm related to is Johannes Lamp, who came to America in 1750 from Germany. His probable parents were Peter Lamp and Becke Speth and his grandfather, Hinrich Lamp.
Much information has been received, particularly on the Lamp Family. Any further information on these or related families is greatly welcomed. Also, I'm willing to share any information I have as well.
