| The Bott Family of Norfolk in England lived in the Upwell and surrounding districts including as far as I can ascertain the Outwell district. My Ancestor William Bott was born around 1818 to 1822 roughly and he left Norfolk for Australia between 1851 and 1853. He was Married to Sarah Linstead and they had a son William Alfred born on the 28 Jan 1848 in Upwell, also they had a daughter Ann B,24 Dec 1845, Emma B,4 Jan 1846, and Robert B,13 Oct 1850 all born in Upwell Norfolk England. Their next born was in Colac Victoria Australia on 27 Mar 1854 Name was John. William, the certificate say's William's Father's name was John Bott, there was no mention of his mothers name. The information was made available from LDS records and is a supplemental information sheet from their records. I'm keen to get more information on John Bott and his activities that connected him to William Bott, from 1848 back to the 1700's late etc. |
