| This web site is the result of my research into the Botevyle-Carter family of Kent and many other related surnames. I have placed a photograph of a Wedding on this site, please have a look and let me know if you recognise anyone. The Botevyle family history can be traced back to about 1066. A lot of information about the early Botevyle and Botfield families is contained in the book Stemmatta Botevyliana by Beriah Botfield. I have a copy of this book and would be willing to look up information for you if you wish. Ian Stanleys Botevyle Web site has some more Botevyle information and is well worth a look. See link below.
