Hi Sue & Richard,

Been a while. I got back on the family tree kick again and ran across you in ancestory.com. I pretty well documented that Pleasant Woods & Margaret Gabbard was Grandpa Mats Ma & Pa. I found it through the census. I Think Samuel Jr is Pleasants Dad but I'm having a hard time documenting it. Went down to Kentucky this summer and had a nice visit with Tommy & Pat Burdette. They showed us around the old home place where Aunt Eva and Dad grew up. We even went buy the cemetery where Grandpa Mat & Grandma Ruhama are buried. I took some pictures of the graves if you want I can email them to you. Hope you guys have been doing good. We are all fine. Seems like everybody back home sure is getting old. Hope it ain't catching. Maybe someday we can get together and have some dinner. I better get before I bore you to death.

Note: By Sue Bourne - My Grandmother Eva Mae Woods Noe Messer, in all the years I lived with her and after reviewing all her documents I always thought Great Grandmother's name was Ruhamah. After researching this information because of various names she went by and the incorrect spelling by others, I discovered her real given name to be "Laruhamah". She was named after an one of her mothers relatives Loruhamah Ball (one spelled with o the other with an a).

Also in my grandmothers files she said there were 16 children, I can only find 13. Still looking as of 1/2005.
