| This homepage provides information on four kindreds, my grandparents. Ethylwyn Elizabeth Naylor was born in Kidderminster, Worchestershire, England and emigrated to Toronto with her family in 1893. My mother was the youngest of her three daughters. She went as a missionary to China with the Chinese Inland Mission. Walter Thomas Clark was descended from a New England (CT) family who emigrated to Quebec after the Revolution and eventually to western Ontario. He was a medical misssionary and met EEN on the mission field in China. They were married in Bhamo, Burma in 1908. Beatrice Francis Morse was also descended from an old New England family and was born in Kittery, ME. She married JHB in Detroit in 1918 shortly before he left with the AEF for France in the Great War. My father was the oldest of her five children. Joseph Haskell Boutwell was also descended from old (1634) New England families (NH & MA) but was born in Minnesota after his father emigrated there. He was also a physician. |
