The Adam Bowen Family Home Page

I am researching the Bowen family from Northampton County, VA. John Wesley Bowen moved from Atlantic County New Jersey before 1872. In 1872 he married in Northampton County Virginia. He is listed as a widower on the marriage record. The marriage record also list his parents as David and Mary C. Bowen of Atlantic County New Jersey. I have not been able to find any information on John's first marriage in the records in Virginia or the ones I have searched in New Jersey. I know that John had at least one brother Benjamin T. Bowen.
