DECATUR COUNTY TENNESSEE COURT MINUTES 6 DAY OF OCTOBER 1873 This day came into open court Mary BOMAN and entered into bond and security as the law directs. In the final sum of Five Hundred dollars as guardian of Frances W.(1870 CENSUS reads FRANCES L.), Sarah E. and Simeon W. (1870 CENSUS reads SIMOEN H.) Boman minor heirs of Eliah BOMAN deceased with William HARRIS and W.D. BOWMAN (This is WILLIAM D. BOWMAN HER SON) her security which bond was acknowledged in open court by Mary BOMAN as Guardian as afore said and by each of her said security which bond was approved by the court and ordered to be recorded. H.C. ( The Clerk) (Joseph C. Boman 17 years in the 1870 census is not listed in this Document.) 4 DAY of FEBRUARY 1884 This day W.D. BOWMAN came into open court and entering into bond as the law directs in the penal sum of Two Hundred and Fifty dollars as administration of the estate of Charles HAMPTON deceased. With J.W.BOWMAN and J.H. HARRIS as his securities which bond was acknowledged in open court by W.D. BOWMAN as administrator, and by each of his said securities which bond was approved of by the court. It was ordered by the court that letters of admin. be issued. Where upon the W.D. BOWMAN was duly qualified as administrator of said estate. 7 DAY of SEPREMBER 1884 James W. BOWMAN V Martha TAYLOR This was brought to divide some land in kind (equal) parts. Estate of Rebecca Jane TAYLOR deceased and S.K. TAYLOR. I did not copy all of this. 2 DAY of MAY 1887 This day J.W. BOWMAN Guardian of George W. TAYLOR, Sarah J. Lillie TAYLOR, Serence TAYLORr and Anna L. TAYLOR tendered to the court in writing his resignation as such Guardian. Which was accepted by the courts. This day J.H. HARRIS came into open court and entered into bond in the penal sum of Two Hundred and Fifity dollars as Guardian of Sarah J. Lillie, I. Serence and Anna L. TAYLOR minor heirs of Rebecca J. TAYLOR deceased: with G. W. BAWCUM and P.W. MILLER his securities which bond was acknowledged in open court by J.H. HARRIS as (prncipal) and by each of his said securities which bond was approved by the court, and said J.H. HARRIS and the said J.H.HARRIS was duly appointed and qualified as such Guardian as afore said.
