1. JOSEPH READ¹ REED, SR was born 1764-1765, and died 1861 in Henderson Co. Tn.. He married POLLY LEVERETT 1785-1800.

Notes for JOSEPH READ REED, SR:
Joseph Reed was the First white man to settle in what is now Henderson Co.Tn.
The two room log house is still standing .It has been remodeled and someone
still lives there. The Kitchen and barn are seperate and still standing also.
