Notes for Rubin HARRIS:
Rubin Harris died leaving an estate of approximately $20,000.His will was probated and his estate was appraised on October 19, 1832. David Haley was the Executor of the will and Guardian of the Rubin children. Sylva was listed in her father's will of 1833 as Sylva Harris. Sylva was the daughter of Louis Leflore and Rebecca Cravat. She was a twin to Felicity. Under the terms of the Supplement to Dancing Rabbit Creek Treaty of 1830, Rubin Harris received one and a half sections of land in Mississippi instead of any share in the Tribal lands in the West.In the Survey of Choctaw farms by Captain Armstrong, the family is listed as having 200 acres in cultivation at a location on Robinson's Road. Sylva remarried before the end of 1835 for on December 31, 1835 she signed a release of claim to the real property of Louis Leflore as Sylva Grant with her husband of that date, George S. Grant.

Notes for Sylvia LeFlore: It is believed that Sylva was the twin sister of Felicity. Sylva married Rubin Harris about 1814, but no census listing for Harris' has been found for 1820 or 1830.Under the terms of the Supplement to Dancing Rabbit Creek Treaty, Rubin Harris received 1 1/2sections of land in Mississippi instead of any share in the tribal lands in the West. In the survey of Choctaw farms by Captain Armstrong, the family is listed as having 200 acres in cultivation at a location on Robinson's Road. There were eight in the family with one male over 16 and four children under 10.Sylva is listed in Louis LeFlore's will of 1833 as Silva Harris but the words "wife of Rubin Harris" do not appear. Both Felicity and Isabell are listed as the wife of their respective husbands, therefore, Rubin Harris must have died between the time the Survey was made in 1841 and the Will written in1833. The reservation for Rubin Harris, listed as #77 in LeFlore's District, was approved by President Andrew Jackson on June 3, 1836 as follows: Section 34Township 10Range 5E W/section 3Township 9 Range 5E .Sylvia Silva5 Leflore (Louis (LeFleau) (LeFleur)4, Jean Baptiste3 LeFleau, Jacques2, Sieur1) was born May 1797 in Lefluers Bluff, Pearl River, Choctaw Nation, MS Terr.
